Remediation and restoration work was completed by the end of 2006. Site closure documentation was completed and filed in 2007 and early 2008, with the completion of the majority of regulatory documentation in 2008. With the completion of these important milestones, the Yankee Rowe site has entered the phase of post closure monitoring, as required by regulatory closure processes. As of the end of 2008, the only structures which remain are those required to support the Independent Spent Fuel Storage (ISFSI). These buildings include the Security Building and the Administration Building which was constructed in 2007.
