Progress

The site closure process at the Yankee Nuclear Power Station is moving forward. Our goal is remediation, closure and release of the site. The current schedule calls for substantial completion of the site closure process by June, 2005.

Recent developments are noted here. These pages also provide a detailed description of the process - from initial data gathering and analysis, to remediation and regulatory compliance. Each step along the path is guided by Yankee's commitment to satisfy all relevant federal, state and local regulatory requirements.
